Evanesce reimagines the polyphon music box into an evolving, sensorial experience. Discs of polarized glass rotate with the music disc, polarizing light and revealing shifting colors through a birefringent layer. Like a timelapse of the sky from day to night, the disc slowly transforms from gradients of blue to orange before fading back to its original transparent state.
