Kao Grace Onishi is a Japanese American multidisciplinary designer with a background in architecture and a specialization in luxury product design. Trained at Cornell University and ECAL, she brings experience across architecture, product, and fashion—from designing cultural landmarks at Heatherwick Studio to designing leather goods for Louis Vuitton runway collections. She has worked internationally in New York, London, Tokyo, and Paris, where she is currently based.

She brings a detail-driven, cross-disciplinary approach that values elegance, materiality, and thoughtful storytelling. Bilingual in English and Japanese, she is drawn to projects that blur boundaries and connect meaningfully across cultures and disciplines.
