This project draws inspiration from the lakes in Switzerland. Marble is typically viewed as a rigid and heavy material, but Drift alters this perception through its bench designs for the home/urban setting. Drift Urban brings the essence of the dynamic waves into the bustling urban life. The bench’s carved, scalloped form brings softness to the hard marble. The sharp edge treatment and weighted triangular supports allow the bench to fit well into its urban surroundings. Design Proposal — ECAL × Cristallina Marble
